For crochet projects, the recommended gauge is 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm) with 5 sc x 8 rows using a 10 mm (U.S. N-15) crochet hook. For knitting, the recommended gauge is 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm) with 7 sts x 7 rows using a 9 mm (U.S. 13) knitting needle.
